I’m originally from Eugene, Oregon, but I’ve lived in eight different cities in Oregon and Washington over the years; consequently, I consider the Pacific Northwest at large my home. I have a B.S. in mathematics from The Evergreen State College in Olympia.
I have fostered a life-long love for mathematics, and a strong relationship with the natural world. I feel incredibly lucky to take part in a graduate program that combines these two passions so seamlessly, and gives me the opportunity to help make a meaningful, positive impact on environmental issues that concern us all.
The University of Washington is a first-rate research institution, and the QERM program is uniquely skilled at positioning its students to take advantage of the wealth of resources here on campus. If you are interested in hearing more about my experiences with QERM, the university, Seattle, or anything else, please feel free to contact me, and I’d be happy to share.
